Venezuelan-born bass Daniel Chomiak is a London-based singer with a growing reputation in baroque repertoire and the Mozart bass roles. His musical life began at six on the violin within El Sistema, the celebrated Venezuelan music education programme, and he made his vocal debut in 2014 as a soloist in Mozart's Coronation Mass. In 2017, he moved to Italy, joining the Crescere in Musica orchestra while laying the foundations of his singing career.

Daniel moved to London in 2021 to study at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance with Dominic Natoli and Robert Alderson, supported by scholarships from Trinity Laban, the Kathleen Roberts Fund and the Linda Pilgrim Charitable Trust. He graduated with a Bachelor of Music in 2025 and continues his training on the Professional Diploma in Vocal Performance under Alderson's guidance.

In 2026 Daniel was selected for the inaugural Sabbioneta Chamber Opera Festival – Residenze, an artistic residency led by Sara Mingardo, where he sang Caronte and Plutone in Monteverdi's L'Orfeo in concert performances in Sabbioneta and Vicenza, with stagecraft direction by Cesare Scarton and musical preparation under Stefano Lorenzetti, who conducted the Festival's period-instrument orchestra. The same year he appeared as Achis and the Ghost of Samuel in Charpentier's David et Jonathas with New Sussex Opera and was bass soloist in Haydn's Paukenmesse with the Nova Foresta Philharmonic under Craig Lawton. Previous roles include Nettuno in Monteverdi's Il ritorno d'Ulisse in patria for Trinity Laban Opera at Blackheath Halls.

Daniel is a member of the Accademia dell'Opera Italiana in Nardò, Italy, and works regularly across Europe, with strong ties to the Veneto region.

Forthcoming engagements include Balthazar in Menotti's Amahl and the Night Visitors with Arcadian Opera (December 2026), Masetto in Mozart's Don Giovanni with St Albans Chamber Opera (March 2027) and Colline in Puccini's La bohème with Arcadian Opera (July 2027).
